I've just gone to start the bike after a winter layup. The battery has been on a trickle charger/conditioner and shows green lights so all good there. When i turn on the ignition the lights come on as usual but I have only one red light on the display (no yellow or neutral light) and there is no whine as normally happens when I turn on the ignition also there is no fuel level registering although I can toggle through the trips and time of day etc.
When I push the start button there is absolutely nothing.

Any ideas chaps?

Corrosion and therefore interrupted connection in one or more connectors.

Disconnect connectors, look for corrosion, clean mechanical, assemble again.

Be aware that the corrosion also can be inside the connector, where the wire is crimped to the pin.

When everything works, use dielectric grease in all connectors, before final assembly.

This is a tiresome work, and just ask Leethal how annoying it can be.

Good luck.

Thanks for suggestion but I've cured it.

Clearly when the bike went into wraps for the winter I left my brain with it. On the r/h handlebar I found a big red switch and when I popped to 'on' guess what........

You've got to love senility!

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

I would follow what everyone said and check your connections any way . I had the same issue and it turned out to be the instrument cluster plug. Glad you found it easily.
